Demi Lovato Update: 'Heart Attack' Singer Rude To Fan? Says Artwork Not Her Body?

Demi Lovato has called yet again another person out for allegedly giving her "unrealistic" body. This time, a 17-year-old Demi Lovato fan's artwork was the "Give Your Heart a Break" singer's target.

Vladimir Serbanescu, an artist from Romania, posted on Instagram his artwork of Demi Lovato as a mermaid. Vladimir Serbanescu gave Demi Lovato a type of headdress and particularly perky breasts, according to Huffington Post Canada.

The Demi Lovato fan artwork was supposedly inspired by her "Body Say" song. Demi Lovato saw the artwork and even commented on it.

"Is that how my boobs should look?" Demi Lovato wrote. "It's gorgeous but that's not my body."

Vladimir Serbanescu wrote back explaining his intention to Demi Lovato. The young artist said that giving Demi Lovato trimmer waistline and accentuated breasts has to do with her depiction as a mermaid. 

The Demi Lovato fan highlighted that the he did not intend to impose any idea of what girls or the singer should look like. The mermaid with the face of Demi Lovato had been a point of pride for Vladimir Serbanescu.

The Demi Lovato fan said he worked hard on, and was proud of the mermaid. That is, until he heard what Demi Lovato had to say.

 If i make your waist slimmer and your boobs bigger to accentuate the fact that i drew you as a mermaid, a mythological creature, doesn't mean I say that you should look like that or all girls should look like that. Of course internet broke out because of what Demi Lovato had to comment on the artwork. Some of them said the "Skyscraper" singer just went too far and was rude and ungrateful. Some said she did not seem to appreciate the fact that a fan drew this and exerted much effort for the artwork which is supposedly to honor her.

Vladimir Serbanescu also drew "Side to Side" artists Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj and Kylie Jenner. The Demi Lovato fan further drew "Kill 'Em With Kindness" singer Selena Gomez and "Love Yourself" singer Justin Bieber.

The "Confident" singer has been an advocate of body positivity for years and has suffered from an eating disorder in her fight for self-acceptance and peer pressure, according to Seventeen. Demi Lovato also blasted Taylor Swift and her squad, touted to be the dream team.
