‘Final Fantasy XV’ Latest News & Updates: Moogles Dolls Revealed, How Will They Affect 'FFXV' Gameplay?

"Final Fantasy XV" has finally been confirmed to be including one of the most famous of the franchise' most reoccurring elements, the Moogles, with their appearance in the game taking the form of Moogle dolls, though how they will specifically affect gameplay is still uncertain.

Gamespot previously reported that the "Final Fantasy XV" website gained a countdown page ticking the time until to a then-mysterious reveal that was strongly implied to be about the "Final Fantasy" series' iconic Moogle creatures. Now, as IGN reported, the timer on the "Final Fantasy XV" countdown has finished ticking and the form the Moogles will take in "Final Fantasy XV" has been revealed to be in the form of Moogle Dolls.

Details are currently very scarce, but the description on the website states that the Moogle Dolls will be a kind of usable item in "Final Fantasy XV." "Moogle will appear in 'Final Fantasy XV' as a lucky item! Take Moogle Dools and goods as your lucky charm to help avoid all kinds of troubles. Maybe Moogle will help out when Noctis and his friends are in a tight spot!"

Whether this means that Moogle Dolls in "Final Fantasy XV" will be accessories the player can equip to the playable characters or consumables that either raises stats or changes certain game mechanics is up for debate. At the very least, the Moogle Dolls" in "Final Fantasy XV" answers one of the largest questions "Final Fantasy" fans have about the game.

Tabata himself answered the question regarding Moogles appearing in "Final Fantasy XV" in an earlier interview with PlayStation Access, confirmed that they will indeed be in the game. IT was not until now that players finally found out just in what capacity, with the prospect of Moogle Dolls instead of being actually creatures being a new concept.

It seems that these Moogle Dolls will not be as inanimate as they may seem, going by the description. As for their effects, Siliconera reported on the Twitter follower campaign Square Enix started for "Final Fantasy" which could probably influence how Moogle Dolls work in the game.
