Shakira Exposes Baby Bump in Semi-Nude Photo

Singing sensation Shakira is expecting her son's arrival any day now, has given some glimpses into her pregnancy by posting a latest photo of her big baby bump.

"We'd like to celebrate the imminent birth of our first child with all of you," she wrote after sharing an intimate photo of her with boyfriend and Spanish soccer player Gerard Pique.

The expecting couple along with UNICEF is holding a virtual baby shower where they are inviting fans and friends to donate for a good cause.

"The countdown begins! And we'd like to invite you to participate in our world baby shower joining efforts with UNICEF," the 35-year-old singer, who is UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, wrote on her Facebook page.

The donations, thus collected will be used to for various purposes , including purchasing medicines or vaccines for poor kids.

This is not the first venture of the Colombian singer.  For helping poor children, she started an organization called Pies Descalzos Foundation in 1997.

Shakira's relationship with Pique started during the shooting of her famous song "Waka Waka". It was only after splitting with her longtime boyfriend Antonio de la Rua, oldest son of former Argentinean President Fernando de la Rua in January 2011 that she confirmed her relationship with Pique.

Though speculations about the pregnancy were spreading from a long time, the singer confirmed the news only last September. In October, the singer confirmed the gender of her unborn baby.
