Kevin Martin NBA Free Agency News: Martin To Choose Between The Cavaliers And Grizzlies; Knicks Also Send Their Offer To Martin

The 33-year old NBA veteran Kevin Martin is still unsigned up to this date and still a member of the NBA Free Agents. Martin is set to come back in the NBA as he is reportedly being chased by the Grizzlies and the Cavaliers.

In a press release by the Christian Daily, the Memphis Grizzlies has announced their interest to sign Kevin Martin a few months ago. The Grizzlies are in search of a good backup shooting guard as they struggle in the needs of depth in the said position.

The Grizzlies doesn't have enough fire power in the 2 guard position. Tony Allen is known to be a perimeter defender and slasher, but is not the type of player that can provide pressure outside the 3-point line. Kevin Martin could be the one who can provide shooting for the Grizzlies, even coming off the bench will be a great task for him.

The other notable team who might come along the way of Kevin Martin is the Cleveland Cavaliers. Cavaliers are obviously in search of a shooting guard as well since they have an issue re-signing J.R. Smith this off-season. Kevin Martin can fill the empty space for the Cavaliers for his style is similar to J.R. Smith. A prominent 3-point threat that is capable of hitting clutch shots, Kevin Martin is likely to be the man for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
