Peter Andre is Loving Parenthood: 'Having Amelia has made me want more kids – I think I must be made for parenthood!'

The two-time winner of the Celebrity Dad of the Year, Peter Andre looks better with age. This is the observation of most people who saw him during the launch of his new fragrance. However, the dad of three, shrugs off the idea of his being a hot dad, comparing himself lowly to David Beckham.

Andre, 42, admitted that when he was younger, he used to do thousands of sit-ups and pushups. He considered having abs as cool, but realizing he was not an athlete, he stopped the ridiculous amount of exercise. The celebrity dad thinks everything is okay as long as he still looks good in a suit, Mirror reports.

The reality TV star has three children. But in a report from Mirror, Andre had no plans of having children again after being a hands-on parent to Junior, 10, and Princess, 8,  from his marriage to Katie Price.

He panicked when he found out that his fiancée Emily MacDonagh was pregnant in 2013. "I was freaking out because it had been seven years since Junior was born," says the celebrity dad. "I felt like I might not remember what to do, and I was worried about being in my 40s and still changing nappies."

However, his fears turned to excitement and pure bliss when baby Amalia was born in January 2014. He felt the pride and joy of fatherhood again. The baby also drew the family even closer.

With Amalia's warm presence and with the delight she brings to her dad, the award-winning daddy said, "Having Amelia has made me want more kids - I think I must be made for parenthood!"

In a report from Daily Mail, Andre wanted to be close to his children and have fun with them. He shared that his older children, Junior and Princess, are his  best friends. The two were embarrassed about his jokes, but he heard them retelling it to their friends, so Andre thinks his jokes were not that bad.

His children also helped him conquer some of his fears. Andre admitted his fear of heights, but he conquered this on their family trip abroad when his children wanted to do the zip wiring and he joined them. Every time he felt weak the celebrity dad reminded himself that he can do it, that it's just a matter of perspective.

Peter and Emily are planning to get married next year, but if the plans go smoothly, the wedding could be earlier. Despite the 16-year age gap, Peter felt he found his The One in Emily. He wanted to spoil her and was very proud of his fiancée who just qualified as a doctor, the Mirror has learned.
