George Clooney and wife Amal Alamuddin pregnancy and divorce rumors have been a very hot topic online. While the married couple has yet to announce whether they are really expecting a little bundle of joy soon, fans of the lovely pair have been hoping that they will finally start their own beautiful family.

It was not a smooth sailing marriage for the couple, at least that's what tabloids suggest. As several rumors previously claimed, the two were on the brink of divorce since they both have yet to overcome their respective busy schedules.

In a recent interview, George Clooney humored fans when he was asked about his and his wife Amal's second year wedding anniversary. Knowing full well that tabloids have not been very forgiving of their relationship, the actor joked that he and Amal proved their critics wrong because they remain to be happily married after two years.

As George told ET Online, he and his wife celebrated their anniversary by "mostly drinking." He added that he made dinner and they had a very romantic and civilized celebration.

It was previously suggested that George and wife Amal have been trying to get pregnant and have even decided to start IVF in the following months. As Hollywood Take previously claimed, the couple has been having difficulties getting pregnant the natural way.
