Google Pixel Alternative: Asus Is Offering The Zenfone 3 Deluxe Special Edition With Snapdragon 821 for $799 By October 19

If in case the latest line of Smartphones is way above your league (or budget, for that matter), then you might just want to see what Asus has in store for you. By the end of this month, the new Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe Special Edition will be up for grabs for $799.

There's no questioning that Google has already taken the driver's seat. Last week saw the arrival of two Pixels, and each included a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. Simply put, the chip can give any device the potential to be a top-seller, provided that it should allocate its power with several nifty specs. But this doesn't mean that Asus cannot follow Google's footsteps. Market trends are changing and a handful is now switching their old ways and focus more on what is affordable yet pack enough juice to power and connect their day.

In a recent report by the International Business Times, the new Asus will also come with the Snapdragon 821, and that it will lead the list of other handsets Asus unveiled back in May. Essentially, the trio of Zenfone 3s is a suitable alternative for those who are in a tight (wallet) spot. However, the new Deluxe stands loud, proud and bold as it tries to outsmart Pixel. Aside from the name, the Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe Special Edition is, according to Android Authority, the "higher configuration Zenfone 3 Deluxe" which cost around $499. When pitted alongside the Pixel XL, Asus' Special Edition will let users end with more savings, considering that Google's flagship phone tolls in at $969.

The slash in price, however, will come with a not so big of a deal difference. The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe Special Edition carries only the 1080p resolution ceiling, whereas the Pixel XL is donned with a higher quad HD 1440, added the International Business Times. But overall, Asus' product is a sight to be reckoned with: 5.7inch Full HD AMOLED display, a whopping 6GB RAM and an impressive 23megapixel prime camera. It also zooms in ahead of the Pixel XL in terms of internal storage with a staggering 256GB as compared to Google's humble 128GB onboard storage.

But if you're looking to save more cash and is not on the privy side when it comes to Smartphone, Asus is still offering the Zenfone 3 at $249 and the Zenfone 3 Ultra at $479. Aside from this, the Asus ZenWatch 3 will likewise be sold at $229 together with the ZenPad 3S 10 slab with a sticker price of $299.
