'The Exorcist’ Season 1 Episode 3 Recap: Is Casey In Love With The Devil?

'The Exorcist' has aired its Episode 3 of Season 1 and it's more complex and bolder than the past two episodes. The cast of 'The Exorcist' have escalated their actions in comparison to the past two episodes and the plot is becoming more aggressive. The Rance family's problems about their two daughter, Kat and Casey, have become bigger, especially with Casey.

'The Exorcist' Season 1 Episode 3 has shown major highlights for the whole duration of the show. Casey Rance (plays by Hannah Kasulka) has escalated her actions due to possession from playing possum to almost killing a guy in the train. Casey's sister Kat Rance (plays by Brianne Howey) has revealed the story of what really happened that made her depressed.

'The Exorcist' Season 1 Episode 3 kickstarted with a flashback of Kat's life five months ago before she suffered depression. Turns out, she was in love with a mystery woman from her ballet crew. Kat was driving with Julia, the mystery girl, when a sudden appearance of an unknown human being got both of them onto a horrible car crash that led to Julia's death.

Meanwhile, Father Marcus was invited by Henry to come to their home to check out Casey's things and the Rance's family took Casey to the church so the two priests can find the devil that Casey has been in touch with recently. Father Marcus and Father Tomas has caught the devil inside Casey's body on another video but still wasn't enough for them to perform an exorcism.

'The Exorcist' Season 1 Episode 3 plot has become more aggressive when the devil has introduced himself as "The Salesman" which confirmed that it's the same devil that possessed the young boy, Gabriel, in Mexico. Another revelation occurred in which Father Marcus got excommunicated by the church. However, during the latter part of the show, unknown names were presented to him by Father Bennett, the same priest he pointed a gun at in Mexico.

'The Exorcist' Episode 3 of Season 1 has also presented Casey's boldest moves, so far. Casey has gone from a sweet teenager to a woman who snapped her schoolmate's leg to the woman who drank hard liquor during Julia's memorial and humiliated her sister, Kat. Out of all Casey's surprising bold moves, the three that shocked 'The Exorcist' viewers was when she and 'The Salesman' kissed torridly, she attacked and almost killed a guy in the train and when she peed.

'The Exorcist' Season 1 Episode 3 has shown a lot of questionable scenes and at the same time, has given hints about what is about to happen. A speculation of Casey's growth over the duration as to when the devil has introduced himself, must have been the manifestations inside of her which is the devil, reported by TV Fanatic. 'The Exorcist' will air its fourth episode on Fox, October 14th at 9PM, according to IMDB. An exorcism is about to take place soon. How will Casey take the possession? Why her?
