'Pokemon Go' New Update: Niantic Announces New Capture Bonus, Rare Pokemons No Longer Rare?

"Pokemon Go" has been all the rage since it was first launched in the United States, Australia and New Zealand on July 6, 2016. According to The Telegraph UK, the mobile game has been downloaded over 50 million times since it reached UK, Germany and different European Countries a week after its US launch and a total of 500 million worldwide.

Just recently, "Pokemon Go" has also reached the shores of Africa in countries like Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, South Africa and about 31 other more. Officially, "Pokemon Go" has become a worldwide phenomenon which has not been achieved by other mobile games released. The mobile game is a big hit because of the excitement of catching different pocket monsters scattered all over, in any given location. This is because of it being location-based augmented reality game which gives the most realistic experience.

With this, "Pokemon Go" developer Niantic, has announced a new capture bonus for players. The feature will give players medals for catching certain types of Pokemon. With this bonus, the chances of capturing Charmander, Vulpix, and Ponyta considered as rare Pokemons is said to increase. Trainers can also advance to a new tier by capturing Pokemons of the same type and bonus points will be computed. Just recently, they have also released a buddy system where trainers can choose one of their Pokemons to be their companion. The latest "Pokemon Go" update has been widely received by Pokemon players.

Recently though, the Dailymail UK has reported that from active users of 45 million in July, it has decreased to 30 million. This "Pokemon Go" development should be able to revive the excitement players have for this game.

Niantic has discussed the features of such bonus, no exact launch date was announced. All players should be tuned in for any future announcements, especially on the most awaited launch date. All "Pokemon Go" players are definitely on the edge of their seat waiting in much anticipation when rare Pokemons are no longer rare.
