'Sony RX100 V:' Sony's Latest Point-And-Shoot Camera Is Small And Incredible!

The world of photography is buzzing with excitement because of a new Sony camera that supposed to be very compact (can fit in one's pocket) but comes with serious specs. This is "Sony RX100 V".

From an official Press Release shared by Photography Life on October 6, 2016, such camera is set to be shipped month of October with price tag of $1000 US. This soon to be prized possession of photo journalists and photo enthusiasts will be available in North America first at various Sony dealerships. Others will have to wait until Sony officially announces release date for other territories.

Though "Sony RX100 V" looks more like its former version, its specification definitely sets it apart. All improvements are found inside. According to Digital Photography Review, it is said to have improved on its Autofocus because of its 315 phase detection covering about 65% of the frame. It is also speedy capturing focus in as little as 0.05 seconds. One can also shoot Raw with 5.5K Resolution and full range of sensor. This makes shooting high quality short clips very crisp and fine.

With all the recent upgrade on different features and functionalities "Sony RX100 V", deserves to be protected from the elements especially water. Though this camera is not water proof or water resistant, Sony came up with a case to make this literally impenetrable by water. Sony developed an underwater case that would be compatible with all RX100 series. One can take breathtaking underwater photos in depth of 40m or 130ft. Such housing will be available on the market in November 2016 with retail price of $350 US. Protecting "Sony RX100 V" may come in steep, but for a photo enthusiast, this should not be a problem.

At this point, photo enthusiasts and photo journalists alike only to wait for "Sony RX100 V" for few more weeks. It is expected to receive positive feedback from potential buyers for its compact size and its power. Though a little pricey, it is known to be every penny's worth.
