“Resident Evil: Final Chapter” To be Filled with Action, Murder and Horror

One of the most popular video games to be converted to a successful movie series, "Resident Evil" will be returning for the final time early next year. Speaking at the New York Comic-Con festival held yesterday, director Paul W.S. Anderson divulged that the "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" will be packed with tremendous action and horror scenes that will keep the audience glued to the edge of their seats.

The final movie in the franchise will be a sequel to the fifth movie, "Resident Evil: Retribution" with Alice traveling from Washington D.C to Racoon city, Collider reports. Alice and her group of survivors will take on the well-armed forces of Umbrella Corporation while fighting with their monstrous enemies. Being the most difficult adventure of Alice, towards the end of the movie, the truth about Alice and the Umbrella Corporation will be discovered.

Unveiling the second trailer for the Resident Evil 6, this Capcom's highly popular video game's movie franchise has previously extended its earnings to more than $1 billion worldwide, according to statistics by Movie Web. The movie stars Ali Larter, Shawn Roberts, Ruby Rose, Eoin Macken, Rola, Lee Joon-Gi with William Levy and Iain Glen.

Asked about the popularity and the massive collections that the movie has acquired, Anderson remarks that it can be attributed to the fact that the people who made the movie are ones who genuinely adored the video game. He also added that the movie will involve a high level of emotional engagement, according to reports by Polygon.

Director Paul W.S. Anderson has also produced the movie alongside Jeremy Bolt, Robert Kulzer, and Samuel Hadida. The executive producers are Martin Moszkowicz and Victor Hadida.

"Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" will hit the theaters on January 27,2017. All the die- hard fans of Resident Evil, block your dates as you eagerly await the movie!
