‘The Walking Dead' Season 7 Release Date, News & Update: No Glenn, Maggie In S7? Find Out Why.

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 will not have Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) and Maggie Green (Lauren Cohan) in S7 according to reports. "TWD" fans rooting for Glenn and Maggie, should make the most of "The Walking Dead: Journey So Far" as this may be all fans would get of the Alexandria survivors.

The Huffington Post cites a Redditor's disturbing findings concerning Glenn and Maggie in "The Walking Dead" Season 7. According to this "TWD" theory, "The Walking Dead" Season 7 official sneak peek evidenced the identity of Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) brutal kill.

While "The Walking Dead" scene panned across the jacket of Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), the camera also lingered on blood and brains on the ground. In the middle of the pool of red and bones was "The Walking Dead" Season 7 casualty clue that the Redditor found.

According to "The Walking Dead" Season 7 theory, the ring that was half buried in blood and goo was the same one that Glenn gave Maggie. However, Negan preluded the view of the ring with his line that "TWD" canon creator Robert Kirkman wrote in the comic books after Glenn was killed.

The Huffington Post points out that Negan may have killed both Glenn and Maggie in the premiere. With the clues of the ring and "TWD" comic book line by Negan, the media agency proposes that fans may have seen the last of Glenn and Maggie in "The Walking Dead" Season 7.

Glenn and Maggie could turn up in a flashback or mirage somewhere down the road. At the very least "The Walking Dead" Season 7 may have allowed Glenn and Maggie to exit together.

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 premiere airs on AMC on Oct 23. This will be preceded by the 2-hour retrospective "The Walking Dead: Journey So Far," which airs on AMC on Oct 16.
