Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens Speak Up About Their Reunion On 'High School Musical 4;' Austin Butler Stops Hudgens From Joining Cast

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens will reprise their roles in the upcoming "High School Musical 4." However, news that Hudgens is a bit reluctant to do her role has been circulating online.

While "High School Musical 4" is still under production, news that Vanessa Hudgens boyfriend Austin Butler does not want her to join the cast. The two who have been together ever since Efron broke up with Hudgens is reported to feel reluctant with the "HSM" reunion.

The release of the synopsis that includes the wedding of Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez is reported to be included in the upcoming movie. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens who both wanted not to be included with the upcoming "High School Musical 4" was eventually got a call again by Disney because of the demand of the public as most wanted a conclusion to the story of Troy and Gabriella.

According to Yibada, Efron and Hudgens may play as parents to the new cast and may even be involved as a coach for the new Wild Cats for Troy and a Glee Club teacher for Gabriela. However, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have not confirmed whether they will really join the cast with other "High School Musical" originals Lucas Grabeel and Corbin Bleu.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens who have not been seen together since they broke up may not be up for the role. While most are concluding that the two have already gotten over each other but according to rumors, Efron still wants Hudgens back.

Since Efron and Hudgens have broken up, Efron has not had a long relationship with anyone while Vanessa Hudgens has been dating Austin Butler since 2011. The two have stayed strong ever since and is not showing any signs that they will break up anytime soon. As for their roles in "High School Musical 4" fans will still have to wait for more news and updates from Disney regarding their favorite pair.
