'Supernatural' Season 12 Spoilers & Updates: Emotional S1 Has More Unexpected Twists?

After renewing for its 12th season, Supernatural is all set to premiere with its first episode. At the end of season 11, fans got to see the unexpected return of Mary Winchester. After Dean convinced Amara to stop destroying the earth, he was shocked to see his mother Mary appear before him. Meanwhile, Sam and Castiel return to the Men of Letters bunker only to be attacked by an agent from the Men of Letters London chapter.

With the unexpected turn of events, many fans have been anticipating news about what will be happening between Mary Winchester and the boys. First, fans are expected to see a lot of emotional scenes between Mary and her sons after Mary will find out that Sam and Dean are hunters, life Mary hoped to walk away from.

Mary will reportedly be going back to hunting on the first episode to rescue Sam along with the help of Dean and Castiel. This is the first time that fans will see an older version of Mary work as a hunter (fans have seen the younger vesion of Mary in the 5th season).

Another shock to Mary would be the existence of angels and the Men of Letters because while Mary was a hunter, angels and the Men of Letters were never even heard of. Fans will anticipate how Mary will handle all the news.

As for Lucifer, he is still on earth and has found a new vessel. According to TV Line, his new vessel is a rock star named Vince Vicente, played by actual Australian rock star, Rick Springfield. The official trailer of Season 12 also shows Castiel and Crowley once again working together.

This teamwork will most likely be formed to hunt and destroy Lucifer once and for all. Surely, Sam, Dean, and Mary will also be helping Castiel with that too. Supernatural Season 12 Episode 1 premiered on Oct 13 on the CW.
