‘Eyewitness’ Trailer, Spoilers: Lukas, Philipp Strange Secrets Uncovered, Will Sheriff Torrance Discover It Soon?

"Eyewitness," a new American TV crime thriller series, follows the life of Sheriff Helen Torrance (Julianne Nicholson) as she deals with her new job while striving to keep a peaceful life with her husband Gabe Caldwell (Gil Bellows) and their foster son Philipp (Tyler Young). Philipp, however, is hiding something from her foster parents, a relationship with Lukas Waldenbeck (James Paxton) and a murder they both witnessed.

Sheriff Torrance is a city cop who moved into a small town to take on the role of a town Sheriff but she apparently misses her career in law enforcement, Variety reported. The teaser trailer of "Eyewitness" revealed Sheriff Torrance investigating on a murder case but little she know that her new foster son Philipp is the key to resolving the case.

Philipp and Lukas were unfortunately in the crime scene when the killings happened on "Eyewitness." The two were intimately cuddling inside a cabin when the killer arrived and killed three men, Yahoo TV reported.

The "Eyewitness" trailer also saw Philipp hiding under the couch where the killer found him. Lukas then came and hit the killer on his back. Both of them thought that the killer died so they threw his gun away and swore to each other not to tell anyone about what happened that night.

"Eyewitness" is also suggested to deal with Philipp's struggles with his new life in a new town and a new family. Philipp's mother is actually a drug addict who he had taken care of for years until he was put to foster care.

Lukas, on the other hand, is a kid who dreams to ride in a motocross circuit on "Eyewitness." He works for his father in a farm and he is apparently not open about his sexuality with everyone in town except with Philipp.

"Eyewitness" is slated to premiere on Oct. 16 at 10 p.m. on USA Network. The show is created by Adi Hasak based on the Norwegian crime show titled "Øyevitne." Watch the "Eyewitness" trailer below.
