'Overwatch' Halloween Patch Latest News: See The Blizzard Game's Halloween Update Patch Notes Here [Video]

Blizzard has finally released the Halloween update of "Overwatch" and a lot of tweaks have been made for "Overwatch" 1.10, in time for the Olympics-themed Halloween event.

In a report by Express UK, the latest addition to the "Overwatch" character, Sombra, is yet to be seen. But for now, "Overwatch" players may occupy themselves with the new 1.10 patch available for download.

New character skins have been made available for "Overwatch" 1.10 update. Kotaku reports that the latest version featured a fresh yet spooky look for characters like Mercy in a witch outfit, Junkenstein donning a Dr. Frankenstein costume, headless horseman Reaper, among others.

"Overwatch" Halloween update was reported to have various tweaks regarding gameplay, spectator mode and overall general elements. The latest "Overwatch" patch also has a new feature regarding in-game leaderboards.

Top 500 players will now be available for display in the "Overwatch" in-game regional leaderboards. Another leaderboard has been available for display in battle.net so players can know how well they play against their friends.

General changes include static cameras for the spectator mode, enabling of team name changing and pause button for custom games. As for the characters, tweaks have been made as well for Hanzo's Dragonstrike voice (increased volume), Ana (informing players that they have been hit by Nano Boost), and Reinhardt's voice.

"Overwatch" players can now return whenever they leave or get disconnected from a competitive match. Time changes have also been made for teams with a disconnected member as they are now allowed to exit within 2 minutes and consequently, earning a loss for it instead of a penalty.

Last week, "Overwatch" players thought that the Halloween patch will come with the new character, Sombra. But, alas, Blizzard kept the fans waiting for more.

According to Polygon, an image of Sombra surfaced as Blizzard's internal site has been compromised. The new character was seen in a purple battle suit wielding a submachine gun. Fans are hoping that in the few weeks, they can explore Sombra's gameplay before the "Overwatch" Halloween event ends.

The event titled as "Overwatch Halloween Terror" started on October 11. The limited time event will last for three weeks until November 1st.
