Samsung Galaxy S8 Might Just Be Able to Save the Technology Giant

The Samsung Galaxy S8 may be the smartphone that could save the Korean tech giant after falling to their demise with the disastrous Samsung Note 7. The Galaxy S8 is rumored to be the best smartphone to be released by the company in 2017.

Samsung is still in hot water after the faulty Samsung Note 7 after numerous incidents of the battery pack exploding while being used, causing Samsung to stop the sale and encouraging users to return their Note 7s. This might be the end of Samsung Note series due to the unpopular image that it has given the brand.

This would mean that Samsung will no longer release a Note 8 in the coming years, and they would have to look to the soon to be release Galaxy S8 to bring back the trust of their consumers.

According to the Daily Mail, Samsung is in need of another flagship smartphone line to bring the brand back to a competitive level that could rival Apple's iPhone and the newly released Pixel phone by Google.

Samsung Galaxy S8, which is rumored to be the revolutionary smartphone that will bring Samsung back to the top. Rumors from Techdroider have revealed that the new Galaxy S8 will feature a bezel-less front display screen and a dual back camera. Moreover, the phone will have curved side edges that will continue on the bottom. The Galaxy S8 will also no longer have a home button, and instead a fingerprint scan on the screen will be used to unlock it.

It is also believed that due to the massive recall of the Note 7, Samsung will release the Galaxy S8 much sooner, with a 2017 target date. The damage done by the Samsung Note 7 was reported to have cost Samsung a huge sum, amounting to $17 billion.
