‘Steven Universe’ Season 4 Return Date Revealed: Lapis Lazuli And Peridot Fusion Happening Soon? [SPOILERS]

"Steven Universe" Season 4 is currently on a hiatus, but the Cartoon Network series recently released a sneak peek to the upcoming episode during the New York Comic Con. Series creator Rebecca Sugar reveals the next big arc for the show, which will definitely leave fans and viewers excited for the upcoming episodes.

"Steven Universe" Season 4 return date was revealed during the 2016 NYCC wherein series creator Rebecca Sugar and other cast members attended the event. A sneak peek to the upcoming episode titled "Gem Harvest" was released during the said event and was posted on the Facebook page of the show.

The "Steven Universe" Season 4 sneak peek showed Lapis Lazuli and Peridot trying to grow some vegetables at the farm. However, they were disappointed when they learned from Steven that the vegetables do not talk or move so Steven goes and tries to plant a seed in order to make Lapis and Peridot happy.

This sneak peek led to speculations that Peridot will create a fusion with Lapis Lazuli. "Steven Universe" Season 4 spoilers reveal that many fans have been looking forward to Peridot's first ever fusion on the CN series.

While Peridot and Lapis' relationship was not quite good at first, the "Steven Universe" promo showed that their relationship is getting a lot better. Sugar also told The Wrap in an interview that the fusions created on the show have to convey a certain story based on emotions.

Sugar also teased that the next big arc for "Steven Universe" Season 4 may have something to do with Rose Quartz. Many fans are looking forward to learning more about Rose Quartz in the upcoming episodes of the show.
