'The Originals' Season 4 Release Date, News & Update: Hope’s Powers To Be Explored? Klaus Mikaelson, Hayley Marshall To Discover What Their Daughter Is?

"The Originals" Season 4 has new player in the form of Hope (Summer Fontana), daughter of Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) and Hayley Marshall (Phoebe Tonkin). While focus mostly had been given to the plight of Klaus Mikaelson and siblings Elijah (Daniel Gillies), Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic), Freya (Riley Voelkel) and Rebekah (Claire Holt), Hayley and the Mikaelsons will discover what Hope is.

When fans last saw Hope in "The Originals" Season 3 finale, the daughter of Klaus Mikaelson and Hayley Marshall was only a toddler. Given the gravity of Klaus Mikaelson becoming prisoner to Marcel Gerard (Charles Michael Davis) and the Mikaelsons nearing death, Hope did not seem much help in "The Originals" Season 3.

  However, "The Originals" Season 4 returns to Klaus Mikaelson and the Mikaelsons with Hayley Marshall becoming more and more aware of the capabilities Hope possesses. The entry of new villains bent on getting to Klaus Mikaelson, Hope and the children New Orleans in "The Originals" Season 4 may lead to a major reveal.

In an interview with Collider, "The Originals" executive producer MIchael Narducci Klaus Mikaelson, Hayley Marshall and the Mikaelsons will begin to understand what Hope is in Season 4. In "The Originals" Season 3, Klaus Mikaelson and Hayley Marshall saw glimpses of the power that runs through Hope.

According to Michael Narducci, this will be explored even further come "The Originals" Season 4. Perhaps, Klaus Mikaelson will soon discover that Marcel Gerard is no longer his only savior in New Orleans as Hope comes into play.

Despite the business with the Tunde Blade and disagreements reaching a climax in "The Originals" Season 3, Marcel Gerard saved Klaus Mikaelson from his enemies more than a few times. Just as well that Marcel Gerard and Hope are both around to aid Klaus Mikaelson.

Enemies taking a trip to New Orleans seem to become more powerful, too. On a note of caution, Klaus Mikaelson and Hayley Marshall will continue to understand that whatever power Hope exhibits in "The Originals" Season 3 could be equally harnessed for evil and good.
