‘Descendants of the Sun’ Season 2 Official Release: Producers Confirmed Production; Song-Song Couple Back In Business

The success of "Descendants of the Sun" not just in Korea but also around the world made Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki a phenomenon. With fans wanting the rumored Song-Song couple back, producers have now confirmed that they are now in the process of creating "Descendants of the Sun" Season 2.

The big questions among fans though are if Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo would return now that they are doing different projects. Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) has not responded to fans questions regarding the "DOTS" stars return. However, Song Joong Ki confirmed that if ever KBS wants him to return to do "Descendants of the Sun" again, he would gladly return.

"I will do it again no matter how successful or not it may be since I received a great gift from it," Song Joong Ki said. "I have to pay back what I have received."

It is revealed that the upcoming "Descendants of the Sun" Season 2 will not star the Song-Song couple but will focus more on Lieutenant Yoon Myung-Joo (Kim Ji Won) and Sergeant Seo Dae-Young (Jin Goo).

After the concluded "Descendants of the Sun" drama, Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo became even more popular and their love team became a big hit with not just their Korean audience but with most parts of Asia and even in the U.S.

Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo are rumored now to be in a secret relationship as Joong Ki admitted that if he has a girlfriend, he will do his best not to make it public. Song Hye Kyo on the other hand recently posted some photos of her on Instagram in Italy which many fans see as an indication that the upcoming "Descendants of the Sun" will now happen in Italy.

However, we still need to wait for news from KBS regarding the "DOTS" Song-Song couple return in "Descendants of the Sun" Season 2. As for now, fans will just wait for its production.
