Sony Playstation VR Review: Playstation VR Is Better Than HTC Vive And Oculus Rift?

Sony has just released a few days the highly anticipated game accessory, the Playstation VR. Sony management stated that they are expecting hundreds of thousands sold Playstation VR by the end of this year.

According to the Display Spy, Sony Excutive Jim Ryan stated they expect to have about more than a hundred thousand Playstation VR to be sold until this year. The Sony Playstation VR was released last October 13th, is now hitting the market. Ryan added that they are planning to increase the production as early as possible.

Previously, the Sony CEO Andrew House mentioned that there may be a possibility that they would encounter a stock shortage once the Playstation VR was released. Other Sony officers claim that they still need to check the demands before they can decide to produce more of the Playstation VR.

In a review made by the SF Chronicle, the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift will now have a new competitor, the Sony Playstation VR. Based on the games that the SF Chronicle tested, the Playstation VR is a promising game accessory. Aside from being easy to setup, the Playstation VR also comes with a great selection of initial games which were released by different game publishers.

Compared to the Oculus Rift with a market price of $600 and the HTC Vivde with a market price of $800, the PS VR only cost about $400 per headset. Though there is a catch, the price is only for the PS VR headset only, this means a Playstation Move and Playstation Camera needs to be bought if you don't have one.

The PS VR can be bought via Amazon, GameStop and Best Buy. According to the Superdata, the PS VR might sell as much as 2.6 million units by the end of this year.
