The big announcement was made through the game developer's website along with the news of the "Welcome to Los Santos" soundtrack release, Latin Post reports. According to the developer's press release, the "Welcome to Los Santos" collection of songs was initially released for PC. However, the growing popularity of the music, accompanying the popular video game, among its fans convinced Rockstar to include it in the console versions for Playstation and Xbox.

The soundtrack features a number of artists from various genres including Little Dragon, Phantogram, Earl Sweatshirt, Killer Mike, Tunde Adebimpe, Freddie Gibbs and Popcaan, to name a few.

Along with the new soundtrack comes a new collection of clothing and accessories, more powerful weapons and advanced vehicles.

According to Express, Rockstar has confirmed that the Rockstar Editor will not be compatible with GTA V on the Xbox 360 and PS3 because it requires additional processing power.
