‘Vikings' Season 5 Air Date, News & Update: Ragnar Lothbrok Death Predicted By Floki, The New Seer?

"Vikings Season 4" Part 2 will reconcile Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel) and Floki (Gustaf Skarsgard), whom The Seer (John Kavanagh) recognized to have his same powers. Ragnar Lothbrok is anticipated to return in "Vikings Season 5" but may end in a manner that Floki, the awakening Seer, is whispered to predict.

In "Vikings Season 4" Part 1 Episode 6 ("What Might Have Been"), Ragnar Lothbrok asked The Seer about the day he dies. The prophecy of The Seer, which triggered more than a few "Vikings" theories, says Ragnar Lothbrok will die on the day that the "blind man" sees the Kattegat King.

  According to "Vikings" theories on Reddit, Floki is the "blind man" who will see the death of Ragnar Lothbrok. The term "blind man" supposedly points to Floki who is just awakening to his powers as The Seer in the "Vikings" series.

In the "Vikings Season 3," Floki went to visit The Seer while in the throes of jealousy and concern over the bond between Ragnar Lothbrok and Athelstan. In an unexpected twist in "Vikings" Season 3 The Seer told Floki that he had been waiting thousands of years for the Viking.

Most remarkable of this "Vikings Season 3" meeting is how The Seer, who is shown respect by others with licking his hand, in turn licked the palm of Floki. Forbes proposes that this indeed indicates that the "Vikings Season 3" meeting was between the old Seer and the new Seer.

Whether or not Floki The Seer is "the blind man," Vikings Season 4" Part 2 will soon reveal. Whether or not Floki will warn Ragnar Lothbrok upon vision of a death, the "Vikings" series will also soon reveal.

It is also possible that Floki will not be able to warn Ragnar Lothbrok if such a vision comes upon him. Floki and Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) are off to the Mediterraneans in "Vikings Season 4" Part 2.

At the very least, fences will be mended when Ragnar Lothbrok finally acknowledges Floki back as his friend with the words "I love you" in "Vikings Season 4" Part 2. Floki after all, aside from Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) and Bjorn, are the only ones left standing by the side of Ragnar Lothbrok since "Vikings Season 1."
