Song Joong Ki News Update: Good Looks and Brains

It can be said that the 31-year-old actor Song Joong Ki has the complete package of good looks and brains. This multitalented individual is well-known and respected in South Korea.

He rose to fame during his days with the Korean drama "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" in 2010. Joong Ki had his breakout role in the 2012 film A Werewolf Boy. He also starred in "The Innocent Man" in 2012 and in two seasons of the variety show "Running Man".

But the Song Joong Ki's consistency in making Korean drama no.1 was put to a stop when he enlisted for mandatory military service in Korea on August 2013.

After his enlistment, KBS Drama welcomed Joong Ki with a new project "Descendants Of The Sun" with co-star Song Hye Kyo. The movie gained popularity and high ratings in different parts of Asia.

A teacher of Joong Ki also shared that Joong Ki is a superb student and could easily enter in reputable universities in South Korea if he wanted to.

Minho reveals that he became friends with Song Joong Ki when they both starred in a regular show in South Korea "Let's Go Dream Team 2". He said that Joong Ki is a down to earth man. That's why of all his friends, Song Joong Ki is his favorite.

The prominent actor is now busy shooting his upcoming movie "The Battleship Island". Many fans are expecting to see another side of Song Joong Ki in this project.
