One Direction Reunion Not Happening Soon? Liam Payne Signs Republic Record US For Another Solo Deal

Liam Payne, a former member of the famous boy band, One Direction has just sealed the deal with US recording company, Republic Records. Liam Payne has announced a solo record deal in the U.K. this year with Capitol Records.

Liam Payne has tweeted a few days ago about celebrating as becoming a part of the Republic Records company, according to USA Today. Liam Payne's solo career as an artist roared this year with both recording companies from the United Kingdom and the United States.

Liam Payne said that Capitol Records has an amazing music industry history way back before Frank Sinatra. The One Direction member also mentioned about looking forward to becoming a part of the Capitol Records' story. Liam Payne is said to have assembled a new management team, too.

However, Liam Payne's solo career has heated the fans of One Direction, together with the rest of the members pursuing a solo career as an artist. Liam Payne has stated an answer about the issue saying One Direction will always be his family and that he's excited right now about his career as a solo artist.

Capitol Records is responsible for some of the pop stars' success including Ariana Grande, Drake and Nicki Minaj, according to E! Online. The CEO of Capitol Records, Monte Lipman, has expressed confidence about Liam Payne as a great addition the family. Monte mentioned that Liam Payne will make an even greater impact in pop culture and that the company is honored for Liam's decision to join Republic Records.

Liam Payne was a part of a hit pop boy band, 'One Direction' together with Zayn Malik, Niall horan, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson. One Direction has announced their hiatus as a boy band last year and ever since, the members have gone separate ways.

Zayn Malik and Niall Horan have launched their singles as solo artists. Harry Styles has signed a deal early this year and Louis Tomlinson is said to be busy being a father and a guest judge on "America's Got Talent."
