NBA Trade Rumors: Michael Carter-Williams Has Been Traded To The Bulls; MCW Will Be Wearing No. 7

The Chicago Bulls Acquired Michael Carter-Williams from the Milwaukee Bucks in the expense of Tony Snell. The trade was confirmed Monday by the Bulls, though the trade talk was agreed last Saturday.

The Windy City now welcomes their new point guard Michael Carter-Williams also known as MCW. Carter-Williams could bring up his talent playing his 4th season in the NBA with his new team, the Chicago Bulls as per the Bleacher Report.

Michael Carter-Williams will be providing more playmaking and more defense. MCW will be playing as a backup point guard to Rajon Rondo, and will most likely to lead the second unit of the Bulls. The Bulls seemed to have now 2 point guards with the same play style on both offense and defense.

In the report made by the ESPN, the Bucks recently tried to deal MCW to the Sacramento Kings for Ben McClemore but the offer was declined. Then the Milwaukee Bucks turned their head to Tony Snell. Though Snell finished last season with 35% shooting from the 3-point line, the Bucks believed that has lots of potential and is capable of filling in Kris Middleton and being a backup in most games.

As of for MCW, as he will be playing with the Chicago Bulls starting this NBA season, Carter-Williams will be wearing No. 7 confirmed by the CBS Sports. At first, when he was asked, Carter-Williams chooses to wear No. 1, but Bulls fans reacted to it, citing that they don't want anyone to wear the No. 1 jersey again. This resulted for MCW to change his mind and decided to wear No. 7.

A new two-way player was added to the roster of the Chicago Bulls. Michael Carter-Williams will add depth from the bench using his playmaking and defensive prowess.

On the other hand, Tony Snell could be the help that the Milwaukee Bucks are looking for. But the big question is, if Tony Snell doesn't heat up to contribute as soon as possible, where would we see him play next NBA season?
