‘The Flash’ Recap Season 3 Episode 3: Wally West Jumpstarts His Metahuman Power? Jesse Quick Came To Save The Day

"The Flash" Season 3 Episode 3 followed Barry Allen as he tried to save a girl named Frankie Kane from Dr. Alchemy. Dr. Harrison Wells also arrived with his daughter Jesse in S.T.A.R. Labs and surprised the team with Jesse's speedster powers. Dr. Wells apparently brought Jesse to Earth-1 to ask their friends to convince Jesse not to use her powers.

The new episode of "The Flash" Season 3 saw Barry helped Frankie overcome Dr. Alchemy's powers. Dr. Alchemy used Frankie's painful situation with her foster father John and transformed her into Magenta, a metahuman with telekinetic powers. Frankie tried to kill John and moved a massive tanker towards the hospital where John was until "The Flash" and Jesse came to save Central city.

"The Flash" ran and created a propeller with a supersonic resistance which prevented the tanker from falling. Dr. Wells then asked Jesse to use her powers and take "The Flash'" place so he could talk to Magenta and convince her to move the tanker away. "The Flash" was successful and Frankie was able to overcome Magenta's control over her mind.

Meanwhile, "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 3 also dealt with Dr. Well's hesitance about Jesse using her powers. Dr. Wells wanted to protect her daughter and prefers not to let Jesse use her powers and fight metahumans. He asked Caitlin Snow's help to convince Jesse to reconsider her choices but it did not turn out well.

Elsewhere, Wally West also has his own issues about metahuman powers as he apparently wants to have the ability to save the city too on "The Flash" Season 3. He asked Jesse how she got her powers so he recreated the scene, thinking that he could also activate his metahuman powers that way. However, Wally could have gotten himself killed if Jesse was not there to save him.

"The Flash" Season 3 Episode 3 ended with Dr. Wells making peace with the fact that Jesse is a speedster. He called his daughter Jesse Quick and gave her a suit similar to "The Flash." The end credits saw Barry and Joe watching a video of how Dr. Alchemy who seemed to be a ghost-like creature killed Dr. Edward Clariss in his cell.
