‘The Seven Deadly Sins’ Latest Spoilers, Season 2 Update: Demon King Consumes Meliodas On Manga Chapter 197; Sequel Confirmed

"The Seven Deadly Sins" manga Chapter 197 is expected to see how the Demon King takes over the body of Meliodas. With the Demon King inside Meliodas' body, he is speculated to start a fight with Escanor. Meanwhile, recent reports claimed that "The Seven Deadly Sins" animated series is set to return for its second season soon.

The next chapter of "The Seven Deadly Sins" manga is suggested to see Meliodas turning insane as the Demon King consumes his body. However, fans speculated that he might be able to find the rest of the Ten Commandments first before he completely lost his mind, Hall of Fame magazine reported. Speculations also emerged that Meliodas will be able to fight Escanor with equal level of strengths given that his body was already consumed by the Demon King.

It can be noted that Meliodas was seen losing his mind in the previous chapter of "The Seven Deadly Sins." He even talked to himself, saying that he was successful in plotting his revenge on Fraudrin. Does this mean that Meliodas will really lose his sanity on the next chapter of "The Seven Deadly Sins?"

Meanwhile, "The Seven Deadly Sins" Season 2 is reportedly in the works currently. Japanese animator Kinji Yoshimoto who created the four Original Video Animation episodes of "The Seven Deadly Sins: Signs of Holy War" is expected to take part in the project. However, no details have been revealed on when the second season of the animated TV series will be released.

"The Seven Deadly Sins" Season 2 is expected to pick up where its first season left off, MobilenApps reported. The first season aired from Aug. 28 to Sept. 18 and only had four episodes in it. The storyline followed the disbanded knights called "The Seven Deadly Sins" during the time when the human and inhuman worlds were divided.
