‘God Of War’ 4 Updates: Sony PS4 Pro Will Benefit New ‘GoW?’ Kratos Will Never Be Free?

"God Of War" 4 from Sony Santa Monica and creative director Cory Barlog will reportedly benefit from the new PS4 Pro. While the new "God Of War" will bring in new elements, "GoW" 4 protagonist Kratos will never be free.

The Express quotes Cory Barlog in clarifying that "God Of War" 4 players will not need an upgrade to PS4 Pro. When Sony Santa Monica and Cory Barlog ran the demo of "God Of War" 4, "GoW" was run on standard PS4.

Cory Barlog qualified on Twitter that "God Of War" 4 players will definitely feel the difference on PS4 Pro. However, the PS4 Pro is not necessary for "God Of War" 4 players to enjoy the new Sony Santa Monica game on Kratos.

Meanwhile, "God Of War" 4 is not only bringing new changes with the gameplay and gaming system. Sony Santa Monica and Cory Barlog are taking a much older version of protagonist Kratos onto a new Norse mythology setting.

Kratos will also seem to have found a new beginning in "God Of War" 4. Not only is Kratos a much older version of himself, but the "God Of War" 4 protagonist will now also be trying to raise a young son.

Incidentally, Cory Barlog revealed on Twitter that the son of Kratos remaining unnamed to date is merely circumstantial. The suspense on the name of Kratos' son seemingly does not play into any hidden "God Of War" 4 twist.

Simply, the "God Of War" creative director could not decide on the name just yet. More importantly, Cory Barlog revealed that Kratos will continue to be haunted by memories and visions.

Sony Santa Monica and Cory Barlog may be working on massive changes in "God Of War" 4, but Kratos will continue to be dogged by his old demons. Cory Barlog points out that Kratos simply has to learn to live with these and go from there.

The "God Of War" 4 release date is now generally being projected for 2018. Are you going into "God Of War" 4 via PS4 or PS4 Pro?
