Zayn Malik, Perrie Edwards Update: One Direction Heartthrob Inspiration Of Little Mix's 'Shout Out To My Ex?'; Song Tops UK Chart!

Zayn Malik is in the news again because of a hit song, although this time the buzz is probably not in his favor. The former One Direction heartthrob, Zayn Malik is rumored to be the inspiration for the newest single of the UK group, Little Mix - "Shout Out To My Ex."

Perrie Edwards, who happens to be Zayn Malik's ex-fiancée, is part of the all-girl group, Little Mix and the song, "Shout Out To My Ex" seems to give clear clues to the reason of their breakup. Although the pretty performer did not fully confirm that she is indeed referring to Zayn in the song, the lyrics of the song give the public many reasons to believe that indeed, the song is about her former boyfriend.

According to a post from The Sun, Perrie Edwards said in an interview that although her group expected the public to connect the song, "Shout Out To My Ex," to her former flame, the pretty singer chose not to give Zayn Malik any advance warning. Another Little Mix member, Jesy Nelson added that it is because Zayn did not deserve it.

Indeed the song is full of references that seem to reveal how Zayn Malik is as a boyfriend. A part of the song, "Shout Out To My Ex" gives a glimpse of how Zayn Malik is as a lover with words such as "Hope she gettin' better sex, Hope she ain't fakin' it like I did, babe."
