Alabama Crimson Tide Texas A&M Aggies Face Off: All-Or-Nothing Season For The Aggies; Best Crimson Tide Team Under Saban

From the get go of the 2016 season, the Alabama Crimson Tide football schedule appeared to be very uneven. Crimson Tide is taking on a Top 25 opponent every week and simply because it keeps occurring.

Texas A&M Aggies have not won against the Alabama Crimson Tide since the 2012 and 2013 seasons, when the Aggies have only come close facing the Crimson Tide with Manziel at the helm.

Now, Texas A&M Aggies are back out to prove that this will be an all-or-nothing season. Nothing would be better off than winning against the Crimson Tide and end their history as Alabama’s thorn.

The Tide did an easy job of disposing the then No. 16 Arkansas (49-30) and No. 9 Tennessee (49-10) in its past two games, but the A&M Aggies may be a different story than either of those opponents.

"They are highly ranked in a lot of categories, whether it's turnover ratio, scoring defense or their ability to run the ball," according to Alabama coach Nick Saban, noting the Aggies' high rankings in those respective categories.

Texas A&M Aggies are averaging over 274 yards per game courtesy of running back Trayveon Williams with over 117 yards per game, while quarterback Trevor Knight added almost 84 yards to the mix. Despite Knight’s throwing average being unimpressive, completion rate wise (just 53.4 percent), he still manages to average 250 yards per game in passing alone. Knight's rushing touchdowns is a team-high nine, enough to match his total of touchdown passes.

But Alabama Crimson Tide will be bringing what some are calling the best Crimson Tide team under Saban, including four national championships in the past 7 years. And the A&M Aggies will be feeling that come game day. And while Alabama Crimson Tide offense has looked formidable in the previous games, the Aggies’ defense has always been capable of getting turnovers when needed.
