‘Supernatural’ Season 12 Episode 3 Spoilers & Promo: Winchester Trio In New Case; Castiel-Crowley Partnership; Hitler Resurrected?

Episode three of "Supernatural" Season 12 will see the three Winchesters -- Mary (Samantha Smith), Dean (Jensen Ackles), and Sam (Jared Padalecki -- hopping on the Impala to solve a new case. A partnership between Castiel (Misha Collins) and Crowley (Mark A. Sheppard) will formulate, while Adolf Hitler's possible resurrection in future "Supernatural" episodes was also teased.

The upcoming Season 12 episode titled "The Foundry" will showcase the Winchester trio investigating a "mysterious abandoned house" where "a crying baby leads to death," TV.com reported. Meanwhile, Castiel will "begrudgingly partner with Crowley" to hunt Lucifer, who's now possessing a rock star named Vince Vincente (Rick Springfield).

Springfield's portrayal of Lucifer on "Supernatural" has notably veered away from past depictions of the fallen angel. Mark Pellegrino and Collins' Lucifer portrayals were prone to long monologues and bragging about his power. The new Lucifer is somewhat calm, collected, and eerie.

The new Lucifer still displays arrogance but it's toned down now. His evilness is less obvious as well, which was evident in how he kept his wicked plans for Rowena (Ruth Connell) out of the Winchesters' radar and even from the "Supernatural" audience, Buddy TV reported. It remains to be seen what Lucifer plans to do to the powerful witch, but it looks like it's not going to be pretty.

In a recent interview with Showbiz Junkies, Connell said that the end of "Supernatural" Season 11 had affected Rowena's mindset in some way. According to Connell, the witch has adopted "a change, a different flavor, a different objective" that will be evident throughout Season 12.

Next month's "Supernatural" episode centered on Adolf Hitler was recently teased as well. In the long-running series' Nov. 10 episode titled "The One You've Been Waiting For," Dean and Sam will try to stop a group of Nazi necromancers from resurrecting the late dictator, whose soul has been trapped apparently in a 1930's gold pocket watch, according to Broadway World.

This Hitler-centric episode was already announced in September, with Aaron Bass (Adam Rose) returning to help Dean and Sam in stopping the Thule Society's unholy plans to resurrect Hitler, Parent Herald previously reported. Aaron is a member of the Judah Initiative, a secret organization composed of rabbis and a foe of the Thule.

Watch the promo for "The Foundry" below. The new "Supernatural" episode airs on Thursday, Oct 27 at 9:00 PM on The CW.
