Many "Top Gun" fans are on the edge of their seats as the Award-winning actor, Tom Cruise teased audience that there is a possibility for "Top Gun 2". Tom Cruise said this on one of his most recent interviews at the Graham Norton Show.

According to Hollywood Life, the sequel "Top Gun 2" was surely one of the questions that Graham Norton would ask Tom Cruise during his most recent guesting at the show. There has been a lot of speculations circulating online that "Top Gun 2" is soon to be filmed.

At first, Tom Cruise was a little holding back on his answer, trying to evade the tricky question making the audience even more excited. When asked if there is a sequel, "Top Gun 2", Tom Cruise replied but then explained a bit more giving interesting developments.

Tom Cruise then continued that they are discussing the possibilities for "Top Gun 2" to happen. Tom Cruise said that they are trying and if it can be figured out, he would love to work on it.

It seems it will be easier for Tom Cruise if he did reprise his starring role as Maverick in "Top Gun". Tom Cruise said during the interview that the first time one starts flying, the possibility of getting sick is high. Tom Cruise then knew how to deal with this if it happens.

Tom Cruise requested to be filmed live in an F-14 live so he had to go through the ejector seat training. As part of Tom Cruise's preparation for "Top Gun 2", he even spent time with the Blue Angels.

In addition, International Business Times said that "Top Gun 2" was addressed by Skydance Productions CEO David Ellison and even gave a sneak peak of the possible plot. He said the "Top Gun 2" starred by Tom Cruise will be much like the life everyone lives in and will be using a lot of drone technology and fifth generation fighters.
