'The Walking Dead' Season 7: Glenn Unexpectedly Got Killed; Episode 2 To Reveal King Ezekiel's Kingdom?

Tonight's premiere season of "The Walking Dead" Season 7 was bloody and horrible. "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be," episode concluded the cliffhanger scene from the last episode where fans awaited who would die. The one-hour and six-minute opener cut-short Abraham Ford's life (portrayed by Michael Cudlitz).

Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun), whom a lot of fans did not expect to die, was battered by Negan's barb-wired bat, Lucille to teach the survivors a lesson to others after Daryl tried to attack Negan for killing Abe. Yeun is one of the six original actors since Season 1. Among them were Andrew Lincoln, Chandler Riggs, Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride and Lennie James.

Meanwhile, according to The Independent, Yeun disclosed on the "Talking Dead" that the way Glenn Rhee died in last night's episode was what he expected, as it was the same way he died in the comic books. Yuan said, "Robert wrote such a messed up and incredible way to take something away to make a story as impactful as it is and when you read that comic." He said also that it was such an iconic moment.

Most watchers did not see the death of Michael Cudlitz's role in the premiere episode although he already died in the Robert Kirkman story, on which the show is based. The reactions were overflowing on YouTube when Fox International shared the sneak peek of the first episode.

In TWD's episode 2, "The Well," the sneak peek released by AMC tours viewers to most probably King Ezekiel's Kingdom as Morgan gets to explain to Carol where they are and the next things that will happen. Carol, being walked through in the community, is listening as Morgan spills the details bit by bit, as easily digestible as possible. However, they do not know that Negan is somewhere battering in the heads of their friends. "The Well" is going to be a soother after the horrendous episode 1.
