‘Pokemon Go’ FastPokeMap Fixed 30mph Limitation? New Scanning System Still Inconsistent? Latest Game Update Rolls Out New Egg Patterns, Pokemon Type Icons

"Pokemon Go" FastPokeMap has started rolling out though FastPokeMap developer advised that the app could be inconsistent at the moment. The developer also announced that FastPokeMap team has already fixed the 30mph speed limit implemented by "Pokemon Go" developers. FastPokeMap, however, is not the only treat "Pokemon Go' players received this week as the game also received its latest update that brought unique egg patterns and new Pokemon type icons.

"Pokemon Go" FastPokeMap returned successful scans of nearby Pokemons according to its developer. However, it is not clear yet whether the new FastPokeMap could properly contain the load as more "Pokemon Go" players use the app. It remains to be seen whether FastPokeMap developers will have to fix the app again in time when the number of "Pokemon Go" players using the app have already increased.

Meanwhile, Niantic Labs has rolled out a new "Pokemon Go" update that added egg patterns and implemented Pokemon type icons on the game screen. The variations of patterns that can be seen on eggs depend on the distance required to hatch eggs. The Pokemon type icons, on the other hand, will now appear on each Pokemon information screen, GameSpot reported.

The new Pokemon type icon is suggested to allow easier identification and classification of "Pokemon Go" creatures. This is useful especially to those who are new to the game. The latest "Pokemon Go" update also carried minor text fixes and a new feature that notifies players when their "Pokemon Go" Plus battery is low.
