'Justice League Part One' Release Date, News & Update: Why Grant Gustin Did Not Get The Role Of The Flash

Fans of Grant Gustin are upset when the role of the Scarlet Speedster was taken by Ezra Miller. Stephen Amell, who played the Green Arrow, also felt the same and claimed that Gustin suits the character of The Flash.

Zack Snyder, the director of the Justice League tried to set the record straight with regard to the controversy on his casting decisions. He said to the New York Daily News that he thinks that Gustin was not a good fit with the character. He also said that he is very strict with this universe.

Just come to think of the world that Snyder has created for these titans. The theme of DC Comics is usually serious and dark oftentimes, egregious. The Scarlet Speedster, on the other hand, features more levity. It needs to have a balance between being angst and whimsy as shown in the original comics.

Snyder also noted that there are more great reasons behind the tale of the Flashes. He even pointed out the Multiverse, a cosmic construct where published stories take place.

Snyder also praised Grant Gustin for being a very good guy and for having a commitment to the idea of the multiverse. Besides, Gustin is his favorite.

There are already hints that are revealed by Snyder and Warner Bros. before. Yet according to the New York Daily News, it seemed like the DC Comics is taking advantage to its Multiverse idea. If you are an avid fan of "The Flash" or its comic book, then you may understand what Snyder means about Multiverse. Besides, this has been a subject for many times over the past season.

So this is what it's like. With the multiverse in play, Grant Gustin is playing as The Flash on Earth 1 and Ezra Miller, on the other hand, is also joining the Justice League on another dimension. Besides, there can be numbers of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg and Aquaman at the same time in parallel universe.

Back in July, Miller told MTV News that it is the event horizon and they are both The Flash in parallel universe.

The "Justice League Part One" will be out in theaters on November 17, 2017.
