Taylor Swift, Katy Perry & John Mayer Are Spotted In The Same Party

It can be very awkward to bump into an ex-lover or a long-time enemy but bumping into both takes the awkwardness to a higher level. This may be true for Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and John Mayer. The three celebrities attended the birthday party of the 30-year-old rapper, Drake, so everyone can't help but wonder how awkward it may have been for all of them.

There were many A-list celebrities who attended Drake's party but their presence was not as controversial as Swift, Perry and Mayer. The three has shared a complicated and intriguing history that seeing them in one party creates a huge buzz.

Before all the drama, Swift and Perry used to be good buddies. There were many photos of them together looking cozy with each other and Perry even attended the LA show of Swift back in 2010, as pointed out by Mirror. However, their friendship started to take a different turn in 2012 when Perry began dating John Mayer, ex-boyfriend of Swift.

The feud between the two popstars escalated when Swift discussed about her single "Bad Blood" in an interview with Rolling Stone. Swift revealed that the song was about a fellow female singer who attempted to sabotage her arena tour by hiring her people without her knowledge. The "Bad Blood" singer did not disclose the name of the celebrity but she mentioned that she has always wondered whether the other was treating her as a true friend or not.

Shortly after the interview of Swift, Perry tweeted a cryptic message that says to watch out for someone like Regina George disguised in sheep's clothing. People quickly assumed that this was a jab at Swift. At that time there was no confirmation that Swift and Perry are in a major feud until a few years later.

In the summer of 2016, people got the confirmation they have been waiting for. Calvin Harris, ex-boyfriend of Swift, tweeted that Swift indeed tried to bury Perry. This revelation got people talking and now they have more to talk about after Swift and Perry are spotted in the same party.

E! News reports that the two former lovers, Perry and Mayer, has casually talked to each other in the party. However, Swift kept close to her girl squad and was not seen crossing paths with his former lover, John Mayer. The former country princess has written a song titled "Dear John" which Mayer found very insulting so he replied with a song titled "Paper Doll" which is dedicated to Swift.

Taylo Swift, Katy Perry and John Mayer have always been the talk of the town given the controversial relationship and history they share with one another. But no drama took place during the party.
