Katie Holmes, Jamie Foxx Split: Secret Romance Confirmed After Couple Called It Quits?

Rumors between a blossoming romance between Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx started in 2013 when they were seen dancing at a charity event in New York. Though the two celebrities quickly denied any romantic involvement, the gossip about them never really stopped because they were spotted together in several more occasions. Now, without any clear confirmation of their relationship status, reports are claiming that Jamie Foxx and Katie Homes have already broken up.

An article in The Loop claimed that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx decided to call it quits since the latter wants to keep their relationship (supposedly three-year) a secret. Apparently, the friendship between Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx started even before the actress filed divorce from husband of five years, Tom Cruise. Another theory claims that the "Dawson's Creek" actress and the "Django Unchained" actor chose to keep their relationship a secret because Jamie Foxx is a close friend of Tom Cruise.

Meanwhile, a Daily Mail post suggests that Katie Holmes cannot really go public with Jamie Foxx because her divorce contract from Tom Cruise prohibits her from entering into any relationship for five years. It was said that the divorce contract states that Katie Holmes can date but should not do it publicly to avoid embarrassing Cruise.

As Katie Holmes wanted the divorce proceedings to be over fast, she hastily agreed to Tom's demands back in 2012. Well, come to think of it, Katie Holmes has not really been linked to any other guy except for Jamie Foxx since separation from Tom Cruise.
