Microsoft News & Updates: Windows 10 Creators Update Enables 3D Functionality On Powerpoint Presentations, Gaming Breakthroughs And Many More. Read On!

Microsoft has finally discussed Windows 10 update in gaming innovations and more during its Oct. 26 event in New York. This Microsoft event addressed rumors circulating prior to the said event.

According to Game Spot, Microsoft's highlight of the Oct. 26 event was the Windows 10 Creators Update. The Windows 10 Creators Update will be available Spring of 2017 and is a free update for all Windows 10 users. Windows head honcho, Terry Myerson even said that the Creators Update will offer unparalleled new ways to create and play.

Gaming features are also one that got improved with the Creators Update. The Creators Update will offer game-broadcasting support. The game "Forza Horizon 3" was shown, which made use of the service Beam. The viewer enables the streamer to give feedback on what they intend to see. This test has been used to prove the capability of Windows 10 Creators Update.

In addition, the Creators Update adds Beam's broadcasting capabilities directly into Windows 10. This enables for users to stream broadcasts with ease with Microsoft 10 Creators Update.

Microsoft also confirmed that the Arena tournament feature will soon be available with Xbox app on PC. The Arena tournament enables players to create their own tournaments to compete with others.

The Windows 10 Creators Update also features its 3D functionality. The Windows 10 Creators Update lets the users scan objects with their own mobile devices and see 3D visuals of the image.

Windows Paint also had an update on the Windows 10 Creators Update. The Paint also will have 3D functionality. The Powerpoint will benefit from the 3D functionality to beef up various presentations.

As added by Wired, a 3D demonstration featured a tree being dropped into a Powerpoint presentation. The image of the tree was able to spin and was zoomed around as the presentation moved from slide to slide. This is available in the Windows 10 Creators Update.

It will also be easier to share documents and other files using Windows 10 Creators Update. A user will be able to instantly share photos and other files to contacts. The sharing capability can easily be located on the bottom toolbar of the screen.
