Donald Faison and Cacee Cobb Expecting First Child

Cacee Cobb and husband Donald Faison are expanding their family.

The mom-to-be, who is very close to singer Jessica Simpson, announced the news on Twitter.

"Looks like @donald_faison and I are going to have a little stormtrooper of our own!" she wrote, after posting a photo of a dress with the Star Wars soldier printed on to it.

This is the first child of the couple, who have been together for the last six years and tied the knot in December 2012.

Messages from followers and well-wishers, including celebrities, have been pouring into Cobb's Twitter account since she shared the news.

"Congrats! That is amazing! So many babies I love it! We will have to get our little ones together sometime!" actress and singer Beverley Mitchell, who is expecting a baby girl in April, wrote.

The news comes only one month after Simpson confirmed her second pregnancy. Cobb was a former assistant of Simpson. As years passed, the relationship between the two grew stronger, and 34-year-old Cobb became an integral part of the Simpson family.

Cobb was also present on Jessica's MTV's reality show, "Newlyweds" and Vh1's TV show "Jessica Simpson: The Price of Beauty".

After enjoying her time with Simpson's daughter baby Maxwell and seeing her friends expanding their families, Cobb had earlier revealed her wish to have a baby to join the group.

"All my friends are having kids right now and it's kind of like you want to have your babies at the same time," Cobb, who is also baby Maxwell's godmother, told People magazine.  "I can't imagine my kids not growing up with Jessica's kids."

Well-wishers of Cobb, hinting at her relationship with Simpson, guessed the gender of the baby and wrote: "Boy???? if so- arranged marriage in the works with @jessicaannsimpson for your son to marry maxwell :) if its a girl, they'll be BFF for sure. congrats, y'all!"
