‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 8 Spoilers: Bonnie And Enzo Reunite; Will They Have Their Happy Ending? Michael Malarkey Has Answers

Bonenzo fans could fine renewed hope after Michael Malarkey dished on the future of Bonnie and Enzo together. In "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 Episode 2 titled "Today Will Be Different," Bonnie and Enzo will have a reunion, but will it lead to their happy ending?

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 spoilers tease that Bonnie (played by Kat Graham) and Enzo (played by Michael Malarkey) will come face to face in the second episode of the series finale. Unfortunately, it would not be the kind of reunion fans rooting for Bonnie and Enzo's love team might have been hoping for.

"We do see that they come face to face in the upcoming episode, and he's basically not able to say the full extent of the situation," Michael Malarkey told Screener TV. "It's a conversation that takes place where he's kind of trying to hint at things and hoping that she picks up on it."

Bonnie and Enzo lost each other in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7. Supernatural forces would not allow them to come back together, and as of now, Enzo is under the control of a siren. Hopefully, Bonnie would be able to pick up the secret message Enzo is sending her, and that she would be able to do something about it. Episode 2 synopsis tease the Bonnie will do some drastic actions to free Enzo from the control of the siren.

If Enzo made it out alive, perhaps he and Bonnie could finally be together in the finale season of "The Vampire Diaries." Michael Malarkey further told Screener TV that Enzo's happy ending in the TVD is indeed Bonnie.

"When he found Bonnie it was like finally he's found something that is honest and true and real; a relationship that's real that he can hold on to. For him, a happy ending would be to get rid of all this bulls**t and be able to be with her and be happy," he said.

"The Vampire Diaries" airs every Friday at 8:00 p.m. on The CW.
