NBA News: Ben Simmons' Injury Update And Hopeful Return, Kevin Durant Advise.

There were so many speculations when the Philadelphia 76ers' chose Ben Simmons as the 2016 NBA number one overall draft pick. A young talented player, able to play multiple positions particularly for his incredible passing ability and great ball handling skills. Critics believe that Simmons is a type of player where you build a team around him.

The 76ers may have to wait a little longer with Ben Simmons current injury that may take at least 3 months to heal according to reports. The number one draft pick may be able to play his first NBA game come January 2017 depending on his injury progress and development.

In a report by Fox Sports, Ben Simmons said he knew that period of his recovery is not yet set. He also implied that he continues to get better and when the time comes that he's allowed to play, he'll be ready.

The 76ers coach Brett Brown said that he is thrilled how soon Simmons' would be able to play and as a coach that is the only thing he wants to know when players get injured, according to ESPN. The NBA coach knew the probable January return of the prized rookie from the injury and Simmons' recovery is doing well as expected.

Simmons is currently disappointed with the way his NBA career would begin and have said in a report that he will be able to bounce back immediately from his current injury and would be able to play this season, eventually.

The first person to reach out to him is the Golden State Warriors' star player, Kevin Durant, who have also incurred the same injury back in 2014-2015 season and knows how it was to be in Simmons' current situation. He stated that Durant advised him to learn from people around him and everything will be alright. 

Kevin Durant gave Simmons pointers for the time being to learn more about the game with his current situation which will eventually help develop his skills when the time comes to play his first NBA game.
