Pippa Middleton, the 33-year old younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge is set to wed banker boyfriend, James Matthews next year. The public though should not expect to see a lavish ceremony that can rival the wedding of the royal couple, Kate Middleton and Prince Charles.
In fact, the most recent news about Pippa's wedding seems to reveal that it would be nothing like her sister's wedding. For one, the ceremony will be held at a local church, a huge contrast to Kate Middleton's wedding venue which is the Westminster Abbey. The special event will then be followed by a reception in another modest venue, the back garden of parents, Carole and Michael Middleton.
It seems like the soon-to-be newlyweds, Pippa Middleton and James Matthews want the occasion to be simple and intimate. An article from Daily Mail said, that Pippa Middleton has always been a traditional girl and so want to keep the wedding as private as possible.
According to a report from Mirror, the English couple chose St Mark's Church in Englefield, Berkshire to be the venue for their big day in May 2017. Pippa Middleton and James Matthews are also expecting 150 guests to attend the ceremony, another far cry from the 1900 guests that graced the wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince Charles.
Who will be Pippa Middleton's bridesmaid is yet to be announced, but sources confirmed that it will not be Kate as the Duchess wants to as reported by Cosmopolitan. The reason for this is that Kate Middleton doesn't want to steal the spotlight from her sister's wedding day.
Meanwhile, the adorable Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be part o f the entourage as one of the page boys and flower girls. Another royalty is expected to be present as well with reports that Prince Harry is likewise invited to the wedding of Pippa Middleton.
