‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Movie Update: Director Reveals New Planet Hulk Character, Watch The Video With Chris Hemsworth And Tessa Thompson Here!

More than a year to go before it hit the theaters in Nov 2017, but it seems like the "Thor: Ragnarok" movie starring Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompsons is already creating a buzz online. The latest news about the movie came when the director, Taika Waititi went Facebook Live recently as a way to celebrate the last shooting day for the "Thor: Ragnarok" film.

An article in Screen Rant narrated how Waititi gave the viewers of the live video a tour of the movie's production set which he referred to as a sci-fi wasteland. The video also includes a glimpse of some of the cast members in full costumes. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson, the "Thor: Ragnarok" main actors, are present in the video as well.

The biggest revelation in the video though came later (after almost 11 minutes) when Waititi names an actor that will play the role of Miek, another fictional character from Marvel Comics. As posted in the Hollywood Reporter fans cannot be certain if the announcement by Waititi is intentional or just a pure accident. Another thing that is puzzling the fans is why Miek look human in the video, very different from its alien character in the comic book.

Either way, the addition of Miek in the cast will surely liven up the "Thor: Ragnarok" plot which as previously announced will include a showdown between Thor and Hulk. The Thor and Hulk tandem were first seen together in another Marvel film, "The Avengers."

In the plot of "Thor: Ragnarok" fans will see the god of thunder powerless and then thrown away by a new villain Hela. Aside from Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson, "Thor: Ragnarok" stellar cast also includes Cate Blanchet, Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, and Jaimie Alexander.

Who is excited for the upcoming superhero movie "Thor: Ragnarok?"
