'Samsung Galaxy S8' Features,Release Date, News,Rumors: 4K Resolution, 6GB RAM, More Better Specs

After one of the greatest downfall in terms of public relation and customer satisfaction, rumors have it that Samsung is vying to regain its stellar reputation before the end of 2016 by launching the newest and most developed model of the Samsung Galaxy Series yet, the "Samsung Galaxy S8" says Tech Crunch.

The S8 is rumored to offer a high-end, cutting edge set of features that will bring Samsung back on the limelight. The unit will indulge the pleasures of netizens with its LET Network Connection. According to GSM Arena, the phone will come in with a corning Gorilla Glass 5 back panel and it is no less but IP68 certified - dust proof and water resistant over 1.5 meters and over 30 long minutes.

The unit is pre-installed by the newest Samsung Pay, a Visa and Mastercard certified application. It maybe operated as a single or dual nano sim on dual stand-by. The unit is equipped with a super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16M bursting colors. It is 5.1 inches, multi-touch with a density of 1440 x 2560 pixels, always on display. The screen is also protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The unit shall be run under Android OS, v7.0 with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 Exynos 8895 Octa chipset. It comes in two memory variants - 64 and 128 GB, both variants with 6GB RAM. The phone's primary camera is a 12 MP, phase detection autofocus, OIS, with a dual-LED (dual tone) flash which features Geo-tagging, simultaneous 4K video and 9MP image recording, touch focus, face/smile detection, Auto HDR and panorama. Videos are also in HDR. The secondary camera is 8MP.

According to Tech Radar, the unit shall also feature an Iris scanner, fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, heart rate and SpO2. Its battery shall be fast charging. The newest model is said to come in various colors including Black, White, Gold, Silver, Pink Gold.
