Val Kilmer Dying of Cancer? Former Co-star Claims Things Are Not Looking Good For The Actor

Val Kilmer has been denying reports that he was sick for the longest time. Rumors have been hounding him for a while now and a former co-star may have spilled the beans on what has been ailing the "Batman Forever" star.

Michael Douglas, Val Kilmer's co-star in the movie "The Ghost in the Darkness" said that Val Kilmer's prognosis does not look good. Douglas goes on to say that Kilmer's cancer is the same one that Douglas himself had to battle.

It was in 2010 when Michael Douglas, husband of Welsh actress Catherine Zeta-Jones was reported to be battling throat cancer. He had to undergo weeks of chemotherapy and radiation but was able to win against it. Three years later, Douglas revealed that it was actually tongue cancer, and this is the same cancer that Val Kilmer apparently has, as reported by Fox News.

In 2015, when Val Kilmer was spotted with a breathing machine, that fans expressed their concern that Kilmer was seriously ill or maybe even dying. But the actor denied the reports. He did admit going through a minor procedure that causes swelling but would not divulge what the procedure was for.

Val Kilmer achieved his popularity when he played Bruce Wayne/ Batman in the 1995 film "Batman Forever." He went on to star in other movies such as "Saint," "Red Planet" and being a voice actor in the animated movies "Prince of Egypt" and "Planes."

Val Kilmer has not responded to his friend Michael Douglas' revelation of his battle with tongue cancer. Fans of the actor will just have to wait and see whether he will actually admit to dying of the dreaded disease. Let's hope that he gets through the ordeal, in the same way that Michael Douglas did.
