'Sleeping Dogs' 2 Development Will Continue; United Front Games Has Already Shutdown And Square Enix Will Take Over

The United Front Games confirmed their closure and won't be continuing the development of the game called "Sleeping Dogs." Though the United Front Games haven't announced the said closure, the news is spreading since the team members discussed the closure via Twitter and other social media sites.

The "Sleeping Dogs" franchise was published by Square Enix. Having said, the "Sleeping Dog" 2 might still possible to come out even without the United Front Games. "Sleeping Dogs" is one of the best open-world game around, with its rich gameplay mechanics similar to the great Grand Theft Auto series but with a better hand-to-hand combat game mod.

The "Sleeping Dogs" has a unique storyline with several unique features the skill and talent tree. "Sleeping Dogs" has its own style of an open-world game but was not able to hit the market like the Rockstart Games Grand Theft Auto.

According to Metro, the United Front Games have been working on the game called Smash+Grab recently, but it was eventually removed from Steam. It is also confirmed by The Big Bag, it currently shows that the Smash+Grab page via Steam is still existing but is not available for downloads or any forms of game purchase for the announced Early Access play

The Smash+Grab game held a free weekend last October 13th to 18th, but since then, no further details or announcements from the developer United Front Games about the said company closure. Everyone is still waiting for the final announcement from the United Front Games.

The United Front Games, also known as the UFG never made a major game after the release of the Little Big Planet Karting back in 2012. The United Front Games seemed to forget how to create a better video game after nailing the "Sleeping Dogs" which was released last 2012.
