The Breeder's World Cup Championship Guide For Beginners; A Two-Day Event for Racing Fans

Thousands of people would love to watch an elegant creature that can explosively sprint at a speed more than 60 km per hour to the finish line with the rider on its back. But when it comes to putting this racing show into another level, fans should not miss this coming Breeder's World Cup.

CBS Local Sports gives some insight that into the Breeders' Cup World Championship. The said event consists of thirteen different types of horse races over a two-day event. The feature race of all thirteen races would be called as the Breeders' Cup Classic, which comes with a $6,000,000 grand prize. The Breeders' Cup Classic's basic rule is that the horse will run at 1 and quarter miles. However, this specific race if only for horses three years and up.

Then, the other event is the Breeders' Cup Distaff. It is a headline racing event for Breeders' Cup, Friday, which is solely restricted only to the fillies and the mares in the U.S.

The Breeders' Cup Turf, the Breeders' Cup Mile, the Breeders' Cup Filly, and the Mare Turf are next. It is a three marquee turf race run over the grass course, which focuses more on talented horses from Europe.

This is followed by the Breeders' Cup Juvenile, the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf, the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies, and the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. These races are restricted to 2 years old on both dirt and turf.

And, finally, the BC Sprint is the fastest and the most exciting part of the weekend. These classes are composed of the Breeders' Cup Sprint, the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint, the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint, and the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile. The whole classes of horses are run best at distances of one mile and under. The Breeders Cup has three races at sprint distances topped by the six furlong or three/fourth miles.

When it comes to the beginning of this majestic show, Betting Bet Fair revealed that a leading thoroughbred owner and breeder Gaines John R. founded the Breeders' Cup in 1982. The Breeders' Cup has established itself as the season-ending championship of racing since the inaugural running at Hollywood Park 26 years ago. The event usually was a single-day event from 1984 to 2006, but beginning 2007, the committee agreed to expand it to a two-day event.
The event will start on Saturday, November 4, and will end On Sunday, November 5.
