‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ Finale Recap: Feud Between Teresa Giudice And Jacqueline Laurita Worsened, Jacqueline No Longer Part Of Reunion Special?

Well, it seems like the series following the lives of feisty homemakers from New Jersey did not end up peacefully. Instead of patching things up with cast members, Season 7 of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" wraps up with a full-blown fight between two of the original cast members from Season 1, Jacqueline Laurita and Teresa Giudice.

As recounted by Entertainment Weekly, the finale episode of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" started nicely with Melissa Gorga's fashion show which turned out to be a success. While everyone was busy congratulating Melissa, Siggy Flicker tells the businesswoman wife that it is probably a good idea to have all the girls including Jacqueline (who doesn't seem to have any friend from the show anymore) to have lunch together.

So Jacqueline showed up for the get-together and quickly pointed out to fellow housewives that she only wanted a heart-to-heart talk. However the lunch date of the girls at the Rails Stake House did not fully achieve its aim to renew the friendship between them.

In fairness, Jacqueline Laurita's mission to mend a strained relationship worked well with Dolores Catania, with whom she had a small misunderstanding from last episode. The two housewives engaged in a private talk and quickly agreed to bury their past quarrel behind as posted by Vulture.

That ideal scenario is the exact opposite of what happened when Jacqueline approached Teresa for the one-on-one talk. No one had eaten lunch yet, but Jacqueline Larita was already seen making a rush exit and hearing Teresa Giudice saying that her friendship with the 46-year old housewife is dead and over.

In the end, the four ladies (Melissa, Siggy, Teresa, and Dolores) had to enjoy lunch without Jacqueline. The finale of 'Real Housewives of New Jersey" certainly did not feel like an ending with so many issues unresolved.

So thankfully, the series will be back for a two-part reunion special to premiere on Nov 6. Hopefully, next time, we will see Jacqueline Laurita and Teresa Giudice make amend. Or maybe, Jacqueline won't even be part of the reunion special at all.
