According to Tech Crunch, Roku TV has an update to its live TV streaming systems. The Roku TV brings a pair of important updates to the whole line of streaming players and TVs.

The Roku OS 7.5 is responsible for enabling the much awaited live TV pausing capability. It is relatively simple to have live TV pausing of Roku TV. As long as the Roku TV is connected to an antenna and a USB storage device with 16GB or more of storage, users can pause live TV digital broadcasts of up to 90 minutes.

The update of Roku TV also enables users to enjoy mobile private listening. This means the Roku TV update allows users to stream audio on their respective mobile devices to enjoy listening to shows in loud volumes through iOS or Android without disturbing other people around.

As added by Engadget, instead of plugging into a remote control, users who are running the latest update to the Roku TV can control playback through Roku Mobile app which should be on their mobile devices. This is a feature that has already been introduced to Roku's streaming boxes now available on Roku TV's built-in tech.

Other features of Roku TV include the ability for friends to share photos on the set. Roku TV allows multiple iOS and Android devices to share photos into the big screen at the same time though Play on Roku. There is also extended screen mirroring support for Roku Premiere, Premiere+ and the Roku Ultra.

The launch or rollout of Roku OS 7.5 is today and expects the full completion before the holidays. It is expected to be a big hit for users who are particularly interested in home entertainment systems.
